Product Description:

A high Rama HR 200 two pack aluminum paint with remarkable protective properties and heat resistance up to 250® C. This is suitable as a heat resistant coating for chimney stacks, boiler fronts, duct work, piping and furnace structure. As a general purpose aluminum paint it shows excellent performance in both internal and external applications in buildings, offices, factories, industrial plants, warehouses etc. It has special use in coating exterior of storage tanks in oil industry because of its higher reflectance value.

Surface Preparation:

Degrease and blast clean to Sa 2 ½ grade minimum of Swedish specification SIS – 05 – 5900 – 1967. If blast cleaning is not practical make full use of mechanical tools along with manual cleaning and wire brushing to remove loose rust / scale to St 2 or St 3 grade of Swedish specification. Surface should be perfectly clean and dry before painting. As Heat resisting coating above 1000® C, this paint is to be applied directly on cleaned metal surface free from any rust and remnants of any old coating. For other uses (Below 1000® C) this paint should go on appropriate primers.

Mixing :

Aluminum paste and medium supplied in proportionate quantities. Mix the contents thoroughly and stir well before and during application. Mixed paint to be used of within 24 hours to maintain uniformity in Rama HR 200

Storage Life:
Up to 12 months so long as the material is stored in sealed containers under standard warehouse storage conditions.

Application Method
Stir the Base part thoroughly. Mix the 5 -10% Thinner in the paint as per our recommended ratio by volume. Stir the mix gently to attain homogeneity. Add thinner into the mix, if required depending on the application method and then stir
gently for few minutes. Allow the mixture to stand still (maturation) for about 10-15 minutes to initiate the reaction.
Strain the paint through Nylon filter cloth 400 mesh size and apply uniformly over the surface. All equipment’s used for above should be properly clean.
Application : By Brush / By Conventional Spray For Brush application, generally no thinner is required to be added. However under adverse enviornmentalcondition
about 5% by volume thinner can be added. Apply evenly in crossed manner and ensure the uniformity. Use quality brushes for paint application.
