Surface Preperation:

Degrease and blast clean to Sa 2 ½ grade minimum of Swedish specification SIS – 05 – 5900 – 1967. If blast cleaning is not practical
make full use of mechanical tools along with manual cleaning and wire brushing to remove loose rust / scale to St 2 or St 3 grade of Swedish specification. Surface should be perfectly clean and dry before application of RAMA HR 600.

Curing :

Apply 1st coat. Air dry for 24 hours. Alternatively eat cure at 200® C for 1 hour after 4 hours of air drying. Apply 2nd coat. Allow it to dry overnight and then gradually raise the temperature to working temperature

Mixing :

Aluminum paste and medium supplied in proportionate quantities. Mix the contents thoroughly and stir well before and during application. Mixed paint to be used off within 24 hours to maintain uniformity in Rama HR 400.
Uses:
For Painting of Chimney, Flare Stacks, Exhausts, Pipe Works, Incinerators and similar surfaces exposed to dry heat attack etc

Storage Life:
Up to 12 months so long as the material is stored in sealed containers under standard warehouse storage conditions.

Application Method
Stir the Base part thoroughly. Mix the 5 -10% Thinner in the paint as per our recommended ratio by volume. Stir the mix gently to attain homogeneity. Add thinner into the mix, if required depending on the application method and then stir gently for few minutes. Allow the mixture to stand still (maturation) for about 10-15 minutes to initiate the reaction. Strain the paint through Nylon filter cloth 400 mesh size and apply uniformly over the surface. All equipments used for
above should be properly clean. Application : By Brush / By Conventional Spray
For Brush application, generally no thinner is required to be added. However under adverse enviornmental condition about 5% by volume thinner can be added. Apply evenly in crossed manner and ensure the uniformity. Use quality brushes
for paint application.
