Khodal Water Based Enamel is a high quality enamel designed to provide service performance equal to high quality alkyd enamels. The product is eco-friendly, Lead free and demonstrates excellent gloss retention properties besides outstanding stain resistanceproperties.
Intended Uses:
Masonry, primed plaster and wooden surfaces. Project uses include all trim areas and moulding, cabinets/doors/windows, kitchen/baths/locker rooms, laundry rooms, high traffic areas, For Interior/Exterior use.

Colour Range : Brilliant White, Black and most popular colours. To optimise hide and colour development , Always use the recommended P-Shade primerFinish : Gloss, Satin & lustre
Volume Solids : 35 + 2% (Typical for white)

Gloss on 60® Glosshead : >80 units on glass plate under ambient conditions
Theoretical covering : Approx. 110-140 Sq. Ft./Ltr./2 coats. Practical coverage may vary depending on surface
profile, method of application and losses and substrate type
Recommended DFT per coat : 15-20 Microns, Higer film thickness will deliver enhanced aesthetics
Drying Time (at 25 + 2® C &
RH 60 + 5%) : Surface Dry : 1 Hour maximum
Recoat :4-6 hours
Cooler temperatures, higher film thickness or higher humidity conditions will require longer
drying time
Toxicity : Dry Film is non-toxic and lead free
Flash Point : Not applicable
Surface Preparation:
Masonry/ConcreteAll new surfaces must be cured according to supplier’s recommendations – usually for about 30 days. For old previously painted
Surfaces, scrape and sand old or checked paint to a smooth/dull surface using 180 # emery paper. Remove all sanding dust prior to
application of the Primer.
Wood
Sand any exposed wood to a fresh surface. Patch all holes and imperfections with a wood filler or putty and sand smooth prior to
application of the primer.
Application Method
Application Method : Brush/Roller/Spray Use a Nylon/Polyester Brush. Use a quality ¼ – ¾ nap coverThinning Recommended : 0-15% by volume depending on surface, if required
Thinner/Cleaner : Clean Water
Recoating time between coats : 4-6 hours

Safety & Precautions
• Stir contents thoroughly before thinning. Avoid extra thinning.
• Protect from freezing
• Non-Photochemically reactive
• Do not apply when surface temperature is below 10®C
• Provide adequate ventilation during use
• Check adhesion of old paint before repairing
Avoid exposure of the new paint film to steam for 48 hours and to washing or scrubbing for 7 days
• Keep away from children
